Facility Planning Facility Planning & Bond Issue

The Pella Community School District utilized input from parents, community members, staff and students to develop and prioritize a ten year facility plan for the district.

The main thrust of the facility plan is to create and add new classroom space as the district continues to grow in total student enrollment. Assuring that buildings have adequate classroom space to accommodate all learners is the top priority.

The projects below total approximately $51 million dollars. The proposed school bond election would pay for approximately $40 million in projects, with the remaining balance coming from dollars the district receives from state sales tax revenue.
